ContactAssist

For classroom teachers

Sign in and let the log write itself.

Connect your school Gmail. Pick a time outside school hours. Every 24 hours ContactAssist appends new parent messages to a Google Sheet in your Drive.

You'll grant access to your Gmail (read messages, save AI-drafted replies) and to one Google Sheet titled “ContactAssist – Parent Contact Log” in your Drive. Nothing is ever sent from your account without you clicking Send.

Runs once a day
Choose an evening time. We only wake up when you're off the clock.
AI-triaged
Claude Sonnet 4.5 reads each email, keeps only parent messages, and writes a 1–2 sentence summary.
You own the log
The Google Sheet lives in your Drive. Teacher Notes and Response Status are never overwritten.

Permissions & privacy

Google will show you a consent screen. Here's exactly what we ask for and what we do with it.

Read your Gmail messages
So we can find parent emails in your Inbox and log the replies you send them from your Sent folder. We only store a short summary and metadata — never the full email body.
Create draft replies in your Gmail
When you ask for an AI-drafted reply, we save it as a draft in your Gmail so you can review, edit, and send it yourself. We never send drafts automatically.
Send your weekly digest (opt-in only)
If you turn on the weekly digest in Settings, we send one summary email from your own Gmail to yourself. Turn it off and we send nothing.
Create + edit one Google Sheet in your Drive
Just the ContactAssist parent-contact log. We can't see or touch any other file in your Drive.

Full details in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. You can revoke ContactAssist's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
